Just bought a Xpeia Z2, First Android I've had!

I've got all my music, videos and photos saved on my SD card..
But the 16GB Internal memory is already half full from apps/games and I don't even have that many installed yet.

How can I download apps to/Transfer apps to the SD card so I an use the whole 64GB of memory.

I got my Z2 for repair and use my old Galaxy S3. It doesn' t have this option too.

I don' t know any manufacturer who makes Apps2SD available for all its devices.

But it makes me confident that they brought Apps2SD for Xperia T2 and so could happen to all devices.

Because Sony want sell live apps through What's New. Sony not consider about customers. I am having Xperia Z2. I like and love my device but I hate the the software which could restrict apps to sd card. My Mother is using HTC M8, in that apps can transfer to Sd Card. Think Sony and do the necessary arrangements for Xperia Z2.

That is not possible,Google has blocked that option for security reasons.

Hi, I am new to using android... switched from the Iphone. I have an xperia z2 running android 4.4.2 and am trying to change the default directory for apps on the phone to my SD card. Additionally, I at some point would like to put apps on the SD card instead of using up my internal memory. I have searched many forums online and everything talks about how to do this on the samsung. Very little info is out there on how to do it on the sony... and the info that is available are discussions from 2 yrs ago. I have searched the phone as well and am not able to find a solution. It is extremely frustrating that it is not as simple as it is in the samsung or other devices. Any help would be greatly appreciated (including recomendations on apps that may help me accomplish this). Thank you in advance for your time.

This is ridiculous, so many people saying "I've just got a Z2 and why isn't it easy" or "this is my first android herp derp".
Sorry, but its been said many times in this thread, let alone in other threads, IT IS NOT POSSIBLE.
Its not Sony's fault, google disable the ability to move all apps to the SD card. Some can be moved, yes. But it is impossible to move all apps indefinitely.
And to whoever said " you can do it on a nexus", that's not true, Nexus devices don't have SD card slots to move apps to, so, there's that.
Basically, if you want the ability to move every app to the SD card, you need to root your device, and since most people in this thread seem to not be the most adept users, I'd say that's probably not a wise option. And even if you manage it, its still rather unstable. The only answer is the one Sony provides. Move all the data that can be moved to the SD card, and just install the apps you actually need. Or next time, buy a phone that has more internal storage...
