Hi,
Whenver I look at the photos I have taken, they stay bright for a millisecond and then go dark.. why is this? I have checked that there is no auto-correct going on and have tried turning the auto-brightness of the screen off and it made no difference?
Thanks for any advice.
so what ive noticed - i have a bunch of photos on MicroSD card and on internal memory (DCIM folders).
when i just open Photos programm from the programm menu, it is working ok with no problems.
BUT when i click any picture (no matter - on SD card or internal memory) using file explorers (Total Commander, ES File Explorer, even stock File Commander) and choose to open by Photos application - it shows bright for a half second and then the picture (and not even the ALL SCREEN because notification bar is still bright!) darkens :(...if i touch the screen and swipe a little then the picture goes bright again, but when i lift the finger - it darkens the picture again
... why that Photos app is doing so?
If i choose to open picture using different app - everything is fine...
Is there a solution? Or should i just not use that stock picture viewer :(... im not even able to uninstall it
huh
Strange, sorry if you said already, but are you on kit kat?Maybe there is something with that app.How about if you try to clear data and force stop it?
Yes ive updated to KitKat
and i already tried to force stop and clear data for programm called ALBUM...
and in the APPS - ALL programm list there is no programm called Photos... so i cant see a way to clear data for that specific program :(... maybe it is named differently in the ALL applications list?
It seems the app is from google.
This user said how he managed to clear defaults for it.
Exactly as Armandeus describes... If I use the Album app I can view photos fine. If I open the 'Photos' app the images go dark within a second of viewing. What is the solution? I can't even see this 'Photos' app in the app setting list?
After you use photos, just tap on recent task manager, tap longer on photos and select app info. From there, you could clear data, clear defaults etc.
Thanks Alexdon that worked - can now view in album and edit in google photos - best of both worlds.
I have the same problem, so i open using the album app.
