W995 camera problem

Please help, I have a W995 phone, everything with the phone works except the camera. The camera works but it is very slow. If i want to take a pic I have to wait about 4 seconds each time because the screen seems to freeze. All camera options and settings are slow to respond. If I power the phone off/on, after power up and go to camera all works fine but left for 10 mins and go back to camera the problem comes back. Has anyone had this problem and if so your advice would be appreciated.

Having same issue here with my w995 running latest firmware.

When taking a photo, the first one is usually ok, but the next photos take a considerable amount of time to save. Sometimes up to a minute before the camera is ready for the next shot, during which time the phone is totally un-responsive and un-useable.

Apart from that, its much better than my old crappy Nokia N85.

Hi there,

Have you tried reflashing the update service on your handset? This would resolve any minor software glitches on the handset. See link below for the update service.
