@Lemon have you excluded any apps
Apps active in stanby?
Hi, I'm am another c6602 user. I checked my standby time as 14 hours with the stamina mode on. Its 11 hrs without stamina. At this point I have about 35% juice left in it. I'll check again after full charging. I dont have any allowed apps at the moment. I think the location based WiFi plays an imp role in saving battery life. I felt Socialife app is buggy at the moment it doesnt seem to update automatically. It does work manually. Send your views!
all those apps that require a data connection/wifi will drain your battery faster
Agreed! Wooly! Sorry to hear that Lemon is having so many issues but I'm not facing such teething issues fortunately. Let me know the steps and I'll try to reproduce with others! BTW I checked clearing data for the eco app it did not change the data any bit for stamina mode.
I don't have those issues, I wonder if they have facebook inside xperia synced
Flash is do-able (FYI though, this is an Android limitation not Sony - Google stopped support)
1) download Puffin browser [there's a trial, then you'll have to pay £2.99 or so)
2) sideload flash ( http://d-h.st/x4v )
job done
Flash does not work on Android OS 4.x and above (you can run/hack to apk file but need a browser that supports it - Chrome does NOT). Adobe stopped development and Google ended OS support.
@gurnblansten
why are you creating new threads on the same topics as other threads that you had posted?
also I don't understand why would you buy another Xperia if you were "disapointed" with your xperia Ion which you sold and got a Samsung S3

7. Sep 8, 2012 10:09 PM (in response to Harold.Uribe)Re: Ion LT28i ICS - Please AnswerFelt your frustration and anger as well with Sony. My Ion is now up for sale after long fight with carrier who made up where Sony so miserabely failed. Lost the money paid for Ion and got a Samsung S3 (Icecream Sandwich, faster, better eveything and great battery life). Their abject failure creating phones and using deceptive marketing made me abandon Sony branded products. The Ion is a joke considering the S3 was release 2 months earlier. No word at all for ICS on LT28i to-date. S3 had minor update that enhanced performance and Jellybean coming soon. This experience and the X10 have left such a bad taste that I will never buy Sony again, nor recommend them.

Re: Disappointed to say the least.Support - Sony and Support don't seem to go together in the formation af a sentence. They do not tread into areas they have no answers beyond the "pat" hurry up and wait - we gave it to the carriers.... My Samsung S3 shipped with ICS, has already received a minor update to add auto-brighness, improve battery life and tweaks to O/S. This from a phone that was manufactured and shipped PRIOR to the Sony Ion. Next month the carrier is flipping the LTE switch in my area so finally going to feel real power on an already powerful phone. Will be lucky if Sony has even posted the ICS update that should have shipped on the Ion that I will have to unpack and run the update (If as crappy as what they did on the 2011 phones not too hopefull for improvements on a terrible phone) and bemuse myself. Laughable thinking of what the Ion cannot do in comparison the the S3 which has another neat feature - removeable battery!
you even said not to buy sony

Re: Jelly Bean? Sony agreed to 18months updates after the release day, is Sony keeping their word?Good link for long-suffering 2011 phone users but ZILCH to placate disillusioned Ion LTE owner(s). Bloody September/October which is a farce as other major LTE phones shipped WITH ICS and will be seeing Jellybean before Sony can deliver another out-dated OS that should have shipped on a Summer 2012 released product. Sony is guilty of flase advertising, false promises and yesterday's tech sold as style with today's prices. HTS has licensed Sony Market - at least they ship phones with power, capabilities and actual updates. HTC OneX is LTE, 1.7Mhz processor and ICS with Jellybean coming soon. It's sucessor will be better yet - DON'T BUY SONY!
would any of you guys posting here like to give me one reason why you want this 4.2.2 update so badly - why is it such a critical event - I am quite happy to wait until Sony has fully tested 4.2.2 and incorporated any bug fixes into the release that may be required rather than release it early and give all you prolific cryers here more to yap about lol
too funny
