Warranty for repaired device

Dear forum members,

I hope you can help me! The backcover of my new Z2 (1 week old) is broken, fallen to the floor from about 50cm. It doesnt look to bad, you can barly see it.

I can have my Z2 backcover repaired for 50€ by a certified Phone repair Service. Is my Sony warranty void if they repair it?

If u repair your device in sony service they restore warranty after all..

Depends on the service center. You can still try to send it in, if or when another problem arises.

If another problem arises, believe me they first tell "first you must replace back cover, then we will restore warranty and check your device" so no point to wait..
