Hi,
I have successfully upgrated my XPeria Go to Jelly Bean and I'm facing a big problem with phone calls :
After dialling and pressing "call", the phone is completely frozen ! It remains frozen from several seconds to about 1 minute !! During this time I have no information about the call setup progress. The call can be established, and the celled party can talk "alone" : I'm not able to know when the call is established and to hear him speaking !!! Then, my phone is no more usable !!!!
I don't know if anyone has already experienced this problem ...
Best regards.

Hey Guys,
I had observe a serious bug in Xperai go JB dialer app,
1. plug your headset and start any song from your walkman player.
2. now place a call on your mobile
3. strange think happen, you will hear ringtone + song that is playing (idlely walkman app should stop working and you will hear only ringtone buggg!!!!)
4. pick the up the call walkman stop (normal)
5. hang the call Walkman app start playing (normal)
do anyone is having this kind of problem?
This thing happens on me too.
1-I use winamp for listening music.
2- Sometimes i set my phone to silent or vibrate mode while listening music with headset.
3- Despite the fact that i muted my phone, when someone calls me my music don't stop and i hear my phone ringing in FULL Volume on my headset!:smileyangry: Why the hell no music stops and i get high volume phone tune at the same time!!!
If anyone wanna say "you should reset your phone than it will be fine", NO!This is not fckn Windows XP!It doesn't work that way and i loose all my game saves cause Google Playstore doesn't save them!I stopped playing games after reseting 3rd time!I really want an Iphone now.
so just to confirm, I have the same problem.
Uninstalled viber and skype but it's still the same.
the phone is unusable as phone.
hi guys...
have the same problem :smileyangry::smileyangry::smileyangry::smileyangry:
This phone SUX SUX SUX ... I hate it ... The worst phone ever. This does not deserve to be called a SMARTPHONE since it can even work with simple Calls....
Since i have gotten it i experience problems. From low memory, Wifi Problems, etc.
But since upgrade to JElly B it sux... When i want to call someone it takes 1min to initiate the call. I hope i will not come to a situation where i will have to call for an emergency :smileyconfused::smileyconfused::smileyconfused:
When someone calls me... i slide to answer... the slider stucks right.. and screen freezes.. People don't hear me and i don't hear them for 6-25 seconds. Depends... In the mean time they just hung up..
I uninstalled everything from it. I just have Viber as an external app. Nothnig else. And still...
I do not even use Wifi and Data since the phone would go on fire i think ...
THE WORST PHONE EVER!!!!
This problem is happenig because of very low Memory phone has imo. When phone is not doing anything and i get a call and open it, it takes 2-3 seconds to open but when i am doing something like playing a game or websurfing and get a call, that's where phone stops doing its job.First, i hear my ringtone but screen freezes in the app i was in.Then some seconds later i get the phone ringing screen, and then phone lets me open the call with slide (cause screen doesn't take imput for a while) finally i open the call but i cannot hear any voice while they hear me.After some seconds later, i finally have the communication.
I wish we had a choice to have 1gb+ ram or have a way to change this very low ram somehow but i think ram is stuck with motherboard and i don't know if i just change the ram and phone will recognize the ram and won't need any more hacking. You guys seen Xperia ZR? That's phone i wanted to upgrade from GO.It has all the dust and water proof + more ram, not so bigger screen,720p resulotion.Just google it and i think you will like it.GO has the most pocket friendly phone i've ever used because it has a small form- factor which most phone should have, instead of giant screens that crys for break.
I share the same frustration about the dialer. It is just not acceptable I am missing incoming phone calls because the phone is so slow.
If someone told me this would be a case on a daily basis after the JB upgrade, I would probably think the person was exaggerating. But it is true! Sony, please wake up! You made the phone useless!
As someone mentioned here before, a lousy upgrade like this and the lack of effort on the Sony side to fix it (at least this is my conclusion from not hearing Sony talking about a fix being worked on here, on their blog) this makes me want to go away from Sony mobile completely. How can I know their support of other devices is not as sluggish as for xperia go?
Thanks for the detailed information. I'll forward this but i think this has already been escalated for Xperia P.
just a note that I had this problem even back on ICS,
but thought it was just my phone or an app I installed so I didin;t really complain
and make only a few calls a day
Not tried with a different sim and I dont think that is the case. I had redownloaded the APN settings after my second and third reset, but it didn't make any difference.
same on mine!i hate it when i cannot accept important calls!how would sony respond to this problem..please respond ASAP,because calls are important!!

I'm in the same boat: on ICS and having the stuck dialer/answer issue pretty much daily. My phone's straight from Sony so there's no additional provider bloatware either. Absolute joke and am so angry that they don't seem to have fixed it for the Jelly Bean rollout (which I am also still waiting for).
How can you release a phone that doesn't even work as a phone? Even worse, how can you not fix the issue in a major update!?
