I am facing "Not Ringing" problem with my Xperia ION phone. If I don't call anybody for more than 2-3 hrs or don't send any sms i.e, I don't use the mobile for couples of hrs & put my mobile in Ideal then my phone won't ring even if some one is calling me. I have to restart the phone for fixing the issue. I have already contact Sony Customer Care, Email Support Team (Ticket: 94758477) and followed all the given solutions. I went to Sony Xperia Service Center also ( Ticket Id - 13032100027). They repaired the S/W version but still facing the same Issue.
Please let me know how to resolve the issue asap.

I have submitted my querry in this forum so that some technicians from Sony provide me resolution. But Sony only hosted this website but not using it. No One is available from Sony to Monitor it.
If the problem still remains after reinstalling the software I suggest that you have the phone examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about repair centers please contact your local support team.

I am facing the same issue still now. I have already visited to Xperia Authorized Repair Service Center located in Janakpuri District Center, New Delhi ( Ticket Id - 13032100027). They just repaired my Software but still now facing the same not ringing issue. Now, If I use the Internet on mobile to access facebook, twitter etc and during that time if someone call me then I don't get any phone ringing alerts. But the caller who dialing my number gets a false ringing. This means incoming calls are coming but they are not reaching on my mobile.
Hey Phanen, I am experiencing the same problem, its been only 15 days since I purchased Sony Ion. The customer care & Service center guys say that it will be a software issue and they will update it. Please tell me if your problem was resolved or not ? I am really worried.
My problem has not been resolved yet. I had already visited Xperia Service Center and their Technician just updated/repair my Software. Sony should find out proper solution to resolve the issue.
Please Let me know if someone other also faced the same issue and how they have resolved the problem
What answer they are giving ? Its completely ridiculous that service center guys are doing nothing except updating the firmware for no reason. I've been told the same as well on phone, yet to visit the service center though. But I guess they must consider it as a hardware problem.
I am again going to visit Xperia Service Center tomorrow. Let's see what happens!

They have reinstalled the OS and frameware. Lets see whether it works or not
