Hi, I own an Xperia P devide running Android 4.1.2 and lately I noticed my battery drains faster than ever and triggering stamina mode won't make any difference, not even in the menu where it usually estimates 2-3 times better lifetime upon engaging stamina mode.
I have had a look over the battery use and this is what I have found:
I would like to know if there is any fix for this or if anyone else encountered this before?
On a separate note, I am the kind of guy who keeps his phone clean of any useless apps and always turns off any app from the task manager before locking the phone....which means I am sure there is nothing running in the background or for no reason.
Any help would be apreciated.
When the picture will be visible,I will tell you my opinion. But it must be a software issue, maybe the phone needs a forced restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).
Given the nature of the problem the above recommendation is likely correct. However if this does not work I would strongly advise running an update/repair:
1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

Thanks, I will try this when I get back from work. The above recommendation did not have any effect unfortunately.
I will get back with a status update
@Alexdon
I have tried. It had no impact other than the fact that, overnight, it did not drain 45% anymore, just 8%. Still, the OS is the main consumer and that is not normal. Thanks though!
The right option is to repair phone software, followed by a factory settings reset. It is a software temporary glitch.
I will try this over the weekend. Thanks
Keep us updated.
