xperia z glitch or something

I have the xperia z for a while now it is a awesome phone

but after a few week ago I bought a bumper for it and it look awesome but the power button is hard to press with the bumper on

so I search on the google play store for an app that wake up the phone using sensor  or like the iphone touch thing

the apps are called Awesome On Off - Smart Screen and toucher..

when I press lockscreen button / using the sensor for the app it locks then turn back on

so is it a glitch on the phone itself or just the apps are not supported for the xperia z?

If the sensor works fine when on a call (please feel free to test this if you’re not sure) then it is more likely the app itself.

So the apps are not optimized for the xperia z yet then?
