Any hope for 4k 60fps and 1080p 240fps and 720p 480fps in Android 8? IMX400 can do it!

Hi everyone
i want to know why sony is using it's imx400 so basic?
it can record up to 1080p 960fps! 4k 60fps! but on XZ Premium its 720p 960fps and 1080p 60fps and 4K 30fps! also imx400 supports burst mode up to 30fps at 19MP but on XZ1 its 10fps!

is it any HOPE that sony will roll out an update that can record atleast 1080p 240fps and 720p 480fps (Continous Recording is a must) and 4K 60fps? also RAW capturing, Please Make it happen

Xperia XZ Premiums front camera also supports 4K 30fps and RAW, bring it on Please

Yes, if HTC was able to do this using Snapdragon 835 it means soc is not limitation. 
It's up to sony whether they will provide us with this option or not. Fingers crossed.

Still waiting for continuous slow motion(480fps 720p) video capture after android 8 update. Almost all brand can capture (720p 240fps) why Sony can’t do that. It’s really weird. It must be update asap.

960fps for 1 second  is usless . hope we will get 480fps  if not  240fps at least.

hi is there any app  that can record 240fps slow motion videos, its a very basic feature missing on xzp.

I have seen this question asked in many places but an actual answer is never provided from anyone with actual insight on what's going on at Sony. Since the threads I have seen are pretty old I'm starting a new one for this question.

Is there a plan to add more slow motion options to this phone? The kind of options I'm talking about are:

1. ability to adjust resolution to increase length of super slow motion

2. ability to record in 240fps and 480fps

3. ability to record in 120fps during super slow motion mode
