Changing names of photos

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the name of the Premium pictures given by the camera ?

I have several cameras and try to have specific prefix in order to find out easily by what camera my pictures were taken.

@PierreG25 do you mean different camera apps? that depends on the app you use. some allow you to change the file name convention, others don't.

I refer to the standard application included in the Xperia when you buy it.

@PierreG25 then I'm afraid there's no way to change the name template of pictures taken with the default camera.

Bulk renaming can be done inside android with this app: Bulk Rename Wizzard

If you're on Windows I can only recommend Bulk Rename Utility

The Bulk rename utility for Windows has endless possibilities.

Personally I rename every picture with

Date taken, camera, original name

Now I can merge pictures of Xperia, Canon Camera and Nikon DSLR camera or whatever.

Format:

YYYYMMDDHHMMSS_BrandandTYPE_DSC_XXX.jpg

Don't forget to match the time/timezone on each camera.
