As there is no longer option to install additional camera apps and there is no timeshift video app pre installed, hoa to record 720p@120fps videos on xperia xz premium? Plz help
Solved! Go to Solution.
Launch the camera, select the super slow motion mode and there the preferences.
You'll find the 120 fps in the last entry of "slow motion mode". ☺️
Hi @AdnanK588,
The Xperia XZ Premium supports full HD in 30FPS and 60FPS. There does not appear to be an option for 120FPS.
Thank You 🙂
Go to slow motion mode and select settings. There you can find e options. 2 are 960fps related and last is 120fps
I thought to myself, "How could Sony not implement such a killer feature into the XZP?"
How hard could it be, for Sony to give us options of lower fps? It would be a feature that Samsung/LG/Apple wouldn't have any time soon. If we could have 2 extra options of 240fps, 500fps, or 700fps with the 960fps. Those options would be crazy fun, more useful, and make the 960fps less of a gimick. I am pretty sure Sony's software engineers can be creative and add that feature. If the hardware can record 960fps, then 240 @ 1080, 500 @ 720p, or 700 @ 720p will be a walk in the park. The recordings should be longer at lower fps, since there will be more memory available. I am assuming, because 960fps hogs a lot of temporary storage space. 240fps should use ~2 x less @ 1080p, 500 @ 720p ~ 2 x less, and so on if all frames are stored equally.
Just a thought...
