No, nothing harmful will happen if you overcharge your phone, modern phones of nowadays will not allow overcharging the battery.

Moreover, your XZ Premium comes with a great feature called "Battery Care", this smart feature will learn when you plug-in the charger everyday and when you remove it, then it will adjust the charging cycle so the last 10% of charge will be allowed in the last 30 minutes before you're expected to remove the charger.

This feature is useless unless you charge your phone at the SAME TIME every day! Few people do this! Why can it not be something you turn on just to protect the battery no matter what time you plug it in??? Another silly option that we have no control over!

Nothing will happen, in fact, BATTERY CARE more than likely won't happen. I've seen battery care notification appear only three times in five months with XZ1 Premium. My plug in and plug out times have been regular yet the function does not follow this... and yes; I've tried all the obvious things to make this GBP649 'phone use the function. Not very good for the battery to be plugged in overnight every night to help it 'learn' the charge times. Five months is enough. A 'phone of a quarter the price with functions that work beckons. Regards.
