Hey everyone! The purpose of this thread is to ask anything that you wish to know about the XZ Premium; other users owning an Xperia XZ Premium and forum staff will do our best to reply!  

As an example, prior to purchasing an Xperia XZ Premium you may be wondering if someone has tried out a specific third party app or feature on their XZ Premium, and could tell you a bit more about the compatibility and functionality as the app may important in your daily life. Staff and other users can come in and reply and let you know how it works!

Hey guys, did you know sony shop center in indonesia? I wanted to buy XZ or M5 and tried to find it in Bali, then all cellular shops said if they didnt have any new update from xperia. No one sell xperia in Bali. They said if xperia didnt update for a new phone anymore cause xperia didnt have any fabriq in indonesia, is it true?

After updating the device to Android 8, the developer options do not work and also some of the features that appeared in the experimental video of the software is not on the device, which solved those problems

Can someone check if notifications fram game cats work fine? i had many phones before xz premium and there works everything great but now i bough xz premium and make instant update to oreo and notifications dont come.....i dont know how would be before update to oreo.

@animalpl go to Settings > Apps > find the app you're having issues with > App notifications > see if the notifications are enabled there. also double check if you haven't disabled notifications from within the app.

There  is no ingame notification settings. 

I found that tapatalk app gives notificaion but no sound is playing....sound for notification is stock. no custom sound.

gmail, olx works notifications with sounds

@animalpl hmmm, check in Settings > Apps & notifications > App info > CATS > Battery usage if Background activity is enabled. keep in mind that it potentially might increase battery drain. if it still doesn't work, you could try contacting the app's developer. it's possible that it needs to be updated in order to play nicely with Android Oreo's new notification system.
