Hey everyone! The purpose of this thread is to ask anything that you wish to know about the XZ Premium; other users owning an Xperia XZ Premium and forum staff will do our best to reply!  

As an example, prior to purchasing an Xperia XZ Premium you may be wondering if someone has tried out a specific third party app or feature on their XZ Premium, and could tell you a bit more about the compatibility and functionality as the app may important in your daily life. Staff and other users can come in and reply and let you know how it works!

Hello 

Why there is a red light in proximity sensor

I deactivate adaptive brightness and the red light still on

It's only go in airplane mode and when screen is off

It is normal for the proximity sensor to blink a red light (in fact infrared) when in dark environments, even with the screen on.

Normally every phone with proximity sensor with infrared light should do it.

In any phone the red light only Appears when you make a phone call 

In my phone the i see the red light always when screen is on

As I told you it is normal behavior (at least in several Sony devices), and my XZ Premium also do it with screen on (but you can only see it in dark environments).

Is the newly introduced Xperia XZ premium rosso(RED) is coming directly with Android oreo update? or we should update from android 7 to 8. Also is there any upgrade in the RED colour rather than the case colour RED
