Smart Lock empty after update

Today I had to update the Android software on my 10-days old (new ;)) telephone. Since the update the Smart Lock option doesn't work anymore. When I tried to figure out what was wrong I discovered that the Smart Lock screen is empty. The options I saw before are gone. So I cannot set Smart Lock anymore. Am I the only one with this problem? Does any of you know how I can fix this?

Agree. i just checked and my smart lock was blank again. had to disable and reboot to get it back, but will propably disapear again.

Can we gain some info from sony / google ?

Same issue, smart lock disappears again, usually after a reboot.

You are not alone with this problems. At my device after first update my Smart Lock menu is empty. I wrote to SONY MOBILE and waitinf for answer. I will inform you about result. I hope that SONY MOBILE will back soon full this smart function.

Yeah the solution only works until you restart your phone. Then same thing again.. Have to go through the whole turning off "Trusted Agents" then restarting.. Turning back on etc.

yep. confirmed it only works temporary. after a while you have to do all again... I wonder if its Sony or android 8 fault...

i have this bug too. so clumsy. is this getting fixed?

I just noticed that Google Smart Lock has stopped working after the most recent update. In order to temporarily get it to work, one has to go to Trusted Agenst, disable it, reboot the phone, then re-enable it as a trusted agent for the Smart Lock features to come back. However, as soon as one reboots their phone, it disappears again. 

Sony's developers need to work with Google to fix this issue. 

I just purchased this phone and love it. If you could please help fix this matter ASAP, I and a lot of other customers would highly appreciate it.

With my ZX1 compact I observe the same behaviour.
