Sony Xperia XZ useless after Android 8 update

Since I upgraded my Sony Xperia XZ to Android 8, Bluetooth is not working, all the apps are not responding, the phone gets to hot that I am scared it's gonna explode. It's it possible to revert to Android 7.1.1? I used to love my phone but now I literally hate everything Sony

Tell me about it... I just want to destroy this phone, use a hammer and just pulverized the **bleep** thing! It's probably worse than Apple throttling down their older iPhone, cause it's still working fine. But Sony on the other hand is just unbelievable. I don't know what they're doing with the updates they provided. It's like they're killing the phone and purposely doing it.

after the upgrade alla the apps started to hang too often. proximity sensor is not working properly. turns the screen off when I am looking at the screen. bluetooth is a hastle to connect. I whish I never upgraded :(.
