BLACK Status Bar on Android MM 32.1.A.1.163 Xperia Z5

Good evening

I've just refreshed my Xperia Z5 with Repair SW so I started without sort of errors with MM 6.0

One bad thing I noticed :

BLACK Status Bar on your UI

On Lollipop you did a great job to adapt UI to the your predefinied THEME

For example : I chosed Red Theme and my all UI for = Dialer, Settings, SMS and so on ... had red status and title bar !

Now situation has come back to Kitkat :S What a shame !!!

Black Status Bar

That's really a shame when all Android System and Apps are going into a fully M.ANDROID and u, without reason, go back to a black status bar !

Tell me why please !

As you know, the black status bar on Marshmallow looks annoying.

So, I found the solution for this. Just intall the new Xperia X Themes (all themes non-touched, extract from Xperia X systemdump).

You don't need root . Just install as normal apk.

Time to change your themes. Sony !

Whoever made the decession to bring back black colour on status bar was wrong

I personally think this is a very bad idea as it looks cheap and makes me feel like  'what happened to sony design? '

I see it as a bug and expect it to be fixed in the future.

Anyone knows to get rid of this ugly status bar in black ....
I downloaded Xperia X themes and it fixes in most of the apps.but still wish the stock themes are more polished.
I feel like using touchwiz. Its that ugly. Thanks

Can someone confirm if Sony can bring back the status bar colour. It's black and cheap not like premium. Only for Sony stock apps. But if you think Sony is premium it needs to care for every little things like apple does. We badly need Sony to fix it. Thanks

Well, bring out the pitch forks everybody, because I ended up here for the exact opposite reason.  I have the Sony Xperia X Compact and I'm wondering how to NOT have it random colors or set relative to the app.  I'd like the status bar and the buttons to blend in with the phone - black - and not be part of the screen, with all the focus on what's actually being worked with and intended to be shown.  It actually looks cheap to me (unless perhaps you in fact have a colored or white phone) having what's technically supposed to be software UI replacements for what should otherwise be things which are physically integrated and separate from the display change to whatever solid colors relative to what's on the screen (or otherwise to whatever default color).  Anyone know how to actually disable this and make it permanently black?

Not sure if it would (or why it should) matter, but I'm running Nougat.  It was the same though for Marshmallow upon first getting the phone.
