Charging problem

Hi All,

I have charging problems on my phone when using the usb power, have not tested the magnetic? connection as i do not have that type of charger.

1. I have tested to charge the phone both from a laptop and from a normal power outlet with the sony provid charger, i have also tested to charge a secondery phone with the same charger with out any problems.

2. When i connect the charger the phone goes from stamie mode on the battery icon to a normal battery indication, Do not get the change to charging.

3. If i power of the phone and connect the power cable no change.

4. I did power of the phone with the power button and volume up button and the tested to connect the power cable still not working, so i then powerd on the phone again and still not possibel to charge.

5. I have removed the sim card did not help me

6. I have started the phone in safe mode and tested wo charge with out any change.

7. Did clear the Smart Connect data with out any change.

What options do i have left to performe?

Id say your only choice is to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care as it sounds like a hardware fault if your cables and power supply is working http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
