How to remove download notifications on my xperia Z1?

I just updated to 5.0.2, and everything is running slow now. However the MOST annoying thing is the download administrator notifications on all previously downloaded files since I bought the phone last year.
Can anyone help me disable them? It can not be done the regular way under settings -notifications...

No, there is no app it's just whenever I download something from the net, like a photo or a document, I get a notification when it's fully downloaded, and because I just updated to the new software I get notified on all downloads since I bought the phone.

It is normal to have notifications for downloads, I mean there should be a loading bar and a message in the notification bar after a download is complete.

But it continues to be there although I am not downloading! And it notifies me on all previously downloaded files. I want to turn that off.

Try the following: settings-apps-all,scroll to download manager,tap on it,force stop and clear data. Restart and see how it is.
