Light sensor not working after lollipop update

I run the diagnostic test on my device after the update and light sensor failed.it worked normally with kit Kat 4.4.4! Another bug? Can anyone help?

I can't confirm if light sensors fail after last update of lollipop or not.

But in any case..  Sony has to check deeply and inform the users for final solution.

Not just trying lot of things for nothing.

You should get your phone inspected, and not assume that it's affecting all Xperia Z3 Dual users.

I too have doubts about my light sensor. I have done a service test and get:

Ambient Light Sensor

Value:2.0

What does this mean, please?

@willberg put a flash light over the sensor and the value would jump up which means the light is detected

And I can confirm that the screen brightness does change automatically, just slower and more subtly than I was expecting. Oh well, I can live with that.

I can also confirm that uninstalling diagnostics sorted it...
