Maximum memory card (size and class) supported by xperia ZR?

I want to buy a ,memory card for my xperia zr. The site shows that the phone supports a 32gb external memory. But im worried if it will make my phone slow.

Also, i wanted to know which class (class 4, class 10) memory card i should buy?

I saw the video. It states that it is preferred to buy the similar class of sd card for the corresponding device. So can u tell me which class does the  xperia ZR support?
Also it does not solve my query on which is the maximum size of sd card that the xperia can support without lag. can u help me with that as well/??

Since latest firmware update cards up to 64Gb are supported, look here: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/software/phones/xperia-z/

The class qualify the speed of tha card, compatibilitty is not issue here.

So higher is the class fastest is the card (but take in considerations the read and write speeds which may vary on different models). Try to find speed comparison tests in reviews to help you to choose the optimal card for your needs.

Sd card *class* is only related to speed performance rating of the card not the phone.

There is no compatibility issue here.

Saying "supports a class 4 sd card" doen't make ant sense. Any phone supports virtually any card class.

well what mathers is what you wanna do if you plan to record 1080P videos and so on then class 10 is recommended for best speed while class 4 is for less speed and usage.

I used my older 16 GB Class 10 SDHC card and it works very well. No issues so far.
