Mic problem returned after update 6.0.1

I had problem with mic - people couldn't hear me, because my voice was very quiet. Then I switched off mic noise suppression and everything was fine. Until update to 6.0.1. Now I have the same problem. And I can't switch off mic noise suppression, because this option is simply missed.

Any ideas how to fix this now? Or I should downgrade to previous android version?

UPD: may,19. Sony market topic as solved. But it isn't really solved at the moment. They will roll out an update in "upcoming weeks". And because we still have the same problem, I unmarked topic as solved. As soon as we will have the noise suppression option back and this will really help us - then I will return the solved mark.

UPD 2: In. 575 version the noise suppression function is back. People can hear me again. Thanks, Sony

Yes, I used Flashtool. But beware, it may delete all your data. So make a backup.

I am also having problems with people not hearing when I speak on the phone after the latest firmware update.

I talked to sony support. THey asked me to firstly to set the phone in safe mode to check if there was any apps interfering. Secondly to repair the firmware through the xperia companion. Nothing has worked. This has in one way or anorher happened on all my last updates,

I have had a sony xperia z3 compact now for close to two years. I am so fed up with the phone not working on what should be a basic and priority issue, talking. With the time Sony has had to tweek this update since it was released by google, you would have thought they would get a basic feature of talking right. I am sorry, great phone in other areas, but it looks like I may go for another model tomorrow. Not being able to use the phone for proper talking at work and in private is critical.

I have my Z3 compact for about 2 years. I love the phone but I always had problems with people not hearing me well. The last update made it even worse. I'm strongly thinking about getting a different phone (not sony). Big disappointment that it takes this long to fix it. I think more people should post here- maybe we can bring up the attention!

This sony "phone" is useless now. Sounds like the user is speaking from beneath the surface of a mud puddle. This is an import phone with no domestic service available that I felt fine about buying since my previous Sony phone was such a quality, trouble-free product. I'm also using the latest firmware, did the pc companion thing 3 or 4 times,... Mic problem is primarily with holding the phone and talking, you know, the way one would generally talk on a phone. Much better, but not great, on speakerphone. No problem on magicjack (voip app). No problem with a headset. Much better, but not great, on speakerphone. No problem on its integrated mic test. Just can't hold a traditional phone conversation on this smart "phone." Sony, get this right.

I updated my Z3 compact yesterday from Lollipop to Marshmallow and ever since I've been having problems with my microphone. I have had similar problems to this one before and then I solved by doing like they said, by turning off the noise suppression.  http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z3-Compact/Z3-compact-microphone-problem/td-p/996500/page/2

But now since I updated to Marshmallow my problem is back, when I call people they say that they can't hear me and that the sound is clipping, only time it works properly is when I'm using a headset. Thing is that with the new OS this feature, noise suppression, is nowhere to be found any longer. (At least not from what I can see?).

I have tried to look through the settings for calls but I can not find any setting that has helped me so far. Is there anyone else who has had this problem, and if so how do I fix it?

PS. It should be said that there is no hardware issue with the phone, I can record sound with the phone when I use any kind of recording app so the problem is with calls, not the microphone itself.
