I bought Sony Xperia Z3 from Amazon exactly a month ago. The phone doesn't start and won't even charge. The box doesn't include original charger with its power adapter. It contains only headphones and a USB cable which seems to be fake because of the poor quality. The phone may be original but I am very skeptical about that. After searching on the Internet, I think it may be refurbished. When I connect the phone to the computer, the led turns red as if it's charging and the charging logo appears on screen showing that battery is almost dead. Then screen turns black and it continues in that infinite loop. I've tried many things I found on the Internet like holding volume down button and power button together or holding the yellow button in the memory card slot area... etc but nothing seems to get the device working. It's literally a terrible experience.
When I checked the IMEI number on IMEI.info and it says that it is a Sony Xperia D6653. When I tried to update the device from sonymobile.com, I entered the IMEI number and a message prompted saying "Sorry, the information is currently not available. Please try again later.".
If anyone has an idea about this or may have encountered the same problem as mine please unlighten me and thanks in advance.
