New Xperia ZL

Greetings from Paraguay!

I'm writing here to kill my ignorance. I just bought an Xperia ZL right now. I love the Phone! The screen, the camera, the design. Everything is just perfect!

My cuestion here is. Do I have to leave the phone charging for 8 hours, for the first time? Or that was for the old phones? As far as I know, that is not needed anymore with the new bateries.

What do you say? Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Charge your phone to 100% then let it drain to 10% then charge it again to 100%, do this 3 or 4 times, it won't hurt your battery if you don't but it's wise to do so. You don't have to charge it for 8hours.

Just as uliwooly told you,these are new tech batteries,just make sure you make their cycles a few time,until they are at full capacity.
