Phone suggested I transfer to sd card, now I can't access my apps

So as the title says my phone let me know I was running low on space and suggested I transfer data to sd card, I clicked on it and it gave me tick boxes for photos, music, apps etc.

I thought oh wow, I didn't know I could move apps to the sd card, but the phone says I can so cool, I'll do that.

And now most of my apps are blueprint icons or dimmed copies of the original app icon and all have a sd card symbol on them, if I try to click any of them it says app is on the sd card, but here's the thing, I thought OK maybe it's not a big deal I just have to delete all the apps and reinstall over 4gbs of apps again, very inconvenient and annoying but not a huge problem, however if I go to apps then on sd card they are not there, I went on all apps, scrolled though all of them and guess what, they ain't there either, so I went into the sd card to see if they were there and nope no apps so I can't even delete them from the sd card even though they are clearly taking up space.

The worst part of all of this is that the phone suggested I move them to the sd card, I didn't use a third party app or try to move them there myself, so what do I do?

Do I have lose everything on my memory card and format it, do I have to factory reset the phone, because with my limited knowledge on smartphones that seems to be the only two options, as you can tell I'm extremely annoyed by this, I haven't got the time or patience to rebuild my phone because IT suggested I move apps to the sd card.

If you moved the apps to the SD card and then removed/unmounted the SD card the apps will be deleted, you will have to re-download the apps > move them to the SD card > to remove the blue SD card icon.

If you want to get rid of the blue icons, clear data for xperia home under settings-apps-all. However this has been asked and answered before, so I will close the thread.
