Hi

So all of a sudden I see my play store is missing and then I am not able to operate any Google service related apps like YouTube, hangout etc.. I get a notification when I open the apps that Google services is not supported by my phone and should contact manufacturer.. I also get another notification which says I need to update Google services which I am not able to do..please help

I tried to contact Sony support and also followed there instructions which did not work

Settings>apps>reset apps>switch off phone

Still did not work..also tried to clear the data n cache files from google services..

Hi @Prajna, sorry to hear about this.

Have you modified the software in your device? If you haven't, try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion as this will do a clean install of the software in your device.

Do note that this will also delete all data stored on the device, so it's advised to create a backup using Xperia Companion before you start with the repair.
