Repeat ringtones

Hi Folks,

I am deafend (no hearing) and have a Hearing Dog who alerts me to electronic sounds, including my mobile.  I have just purchased an Xperia Z Ultra and ideally want to use the ringtone that my dog was trained to on my BB - Assembly Line.  BB being the useful little tool it always was:smileysmileywink:, won't allow me to download the ringtone to my computer or anything else.  Have looked on the BB website and find that Assembly Line is now a different tune, hmm.

So, I am probably going to have to retrain my dog to another ringtone, however, none of the Xperia ringtones seem to repeat, which is essential to give my dog time to both recognise the sound and alert me.

Can anyone help me to either find and download my original Assembly Line ringtone to my Xperia, or to make one, or any, of the ringtones ring for more than one 'beep'?

Shall be grateful - am all at sea on many aspects of my new Xperia;  don't find the userguide all that helpful, it is fairly restricted and doesn't give info on anything out of the normal run of things, so shall be posting here for a while yet on different topics.  Hope I don't get expelled!:smileydog:

Hi EdwardElric,

There have been all sorts of reasons why I've only just got around to getting properly to grips with this, fear of the unnown, was one... but I'm happy to report that I have AT LAST!!! managed to download Assembly Line - yes it was the right tune - via your link, transfer it to my Xperia and added it to my ringtone list.  It worked like a dream when I finally managed to get my head round it and my dog is alerting me to it, so a resounding(!!) success and huge, huge thanks to you.

I was at my wits end (they're not very long, apparently...) and at one point thought it was all beyond me, but I am delighted with your technical advice and the trouble you went to to find Assenbly Line for me.  I'm also quite pleased with my own accomplishments!

I will of course now mark this as solved;  please accept my humble thanks - and Beni's too. Dog_Face

Hi.

You can download the Zedge application from Play Store. If unable to find it the play store, install it from the laptop browsing to playstore.

Also, here is the link to that ringtone, not sure it's the exact same version of it but on Zedge, you'll find atleast 10 different/repetitive versions of your ringtone, hopefully.

Hope this helps.

Maybe you can setup a alarm to ring for 30 mins with the ringtone you want to use.
