screen turns on when charging reaches 100%

Can anyone help me can you turn the function off so that when the battery life reaches the screen turns on and stays on is this something that can be disabled

You can not turn that off, once the phone reaches 100% the screen will turn on for few seconds

This is actually kind of frustrating if you have Daydream activated. In the night, when the phone charges fully, screen switches on and Daydream comes on. Of course, I could switch off Daydream, but I'd have to remember to switch it on during the day.

Maybe we need a profiles settings so that in the night, Daydream could be toggled off but on during the day.

I actually have a slow charger in the bedroom so that the phone charges slow especially during early sleep when anything like light distracts me.

My problem is slightly different to this - when I plug the charger into my phone, the screen stays on, even if I put it into standby it turns itself back on.

This means that what should be a quick charge takes much much longer thanks to the screen display draining the battery.

An ideas what is causing this? I use a task killer to try to close down all apps.

I have this exact same problem and on high levels of brightness, battery actually drains quicker than it charges.

Do you have any taskillers or other third party battery saving applications installed?
