Transfer of FLAC files to SD card

Hi. I have been trying to transfer FLAC audio files to a Sandisk SDXC 128G micro card. I have success with some files but then subsequent files go missing. I have transferred them direct to the phone and also by removing the SD and transferring them through a disc reader. They appear as files on the disc reader but dissapear once in the phone. Has anyone had any such issues. One of the reasons I bought this phone was because it was supposed to play FLAC music files.

Cheers

All good. I am new to storing music on Android. I never used my phone for music before, all onto my IPod Classic though ITunes.I was creating individual folders on the card for each album but tried just transferring the songs by themselves and it works

wonderfully.

Thanks for your assistance.

Can you playback the Audio files stored on SDXC from the Computer when the SDXC is connected?

When unplugging the USB cable from the computer, the phone needs time to search for new media files. Usually the audio will popup after 2 minutes of searching. I disabled Google Play Music App and use Sony Music App.

BE sure to create a folder in the SDXC card called 'Music'. I usually sort the audio files by Type (Located inside the root music folder): One folder for FLAC, One folder for MP3, One folder for 24-Bit Hi-Res

Ha ha. Spoke too soon. As happened previously some of the files play and others don't.

I am using dbPoweramp to rip CDs into FLAC files onto my PC. I am now “copy and pasting” them from the PC as individual

audio files into the SD card on the phone. They appear to transfer and actually appear in name on the SD card but when I try to play them back it says cannot play song. It seems that the firs half a dozen or so albums work but once the card starts to fill up

the subsequent ones don't. I also cannot play them form the SD card on my computer through SM Player. If I play the same file from the PC where it was originally ripped the files play fine.

kill me.

Did you ever get an answer to this - its doing my head in. As soon as the 128gb sd card starts to fill up the files stop transferring correctly and do not play, even though the files are fine and work on everything else.
