I'm playing music stored on a memory card in the Xperia via an otg lead to a Chord Mojo and headphones. I've got the Onkyo HF Player app and have paid to unlock it to enable this. The problem is that the HF Player isn't finding the 6gb of flac (lossless) and mp3 files on the card. Onkyo support can't work out why. Can you help please?
This will finish up driving me to an early grave....
1) I got a replacement otg lead which establishes that the first one was faulty.
2) I got a new 32 GB MicroSDHC Memory Card. For whatever reason I can now access the music I've loaded onto it in the Onkyo HF player.
3) I follow your link and the route Settings - Device Connection - USB connectivity - Detect USB device works.
So I'm cooking with gas. I put more music on the card til it is full. I can find all the music.
But the last step doesn't happen any more...there is no Detect USB device, instead it is telling me that I can install software for managing content on my Xperia from a computer.
And no contact with the Mojo...just the music I can now find and select playing on the phone's tinny little speaker.
