Fisheye lens for NEX-5

Hi I am keen to get a fisheye lens for the NEX-5 to use for filming snowboarding. I know that there is a sony fisheye lens which retails for about £115.

However there are also fisheye + macro lenses which are selling on ebay for about £30.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Fisheye-Macro-Lens-Sony-Alpha-NEX-5-NEX-3-NEX5-/290506917511?pt=Camera_Lenses&...

As i understand it these are semi-fisheye and are not true lenses but instead create the effect of a fisheye lens..

My questions are:

(1) is this the case? Has anyone had any experience using these lenses?

(2) Given that i am not looking to produce professional standard film and it is more a case of wanting to have something fun to play around with would you suggest that the considerably cheaper lenses are worth getting?

Many thanks in advance

The Sony ECF1 Fisheye lens is only available for £199.95.

Both this lens and the one on eBay are only lens converters and need to attach to the 16mm F2.8 Pancake Lens and will not fit on the camera direct.

I think you have answered your own question - as long as you already have the 16mm F2.8 pancake lens then you may as well try the cheaper option although the picture quality may be far poorer.  However, if you only have the 18 - 55mm OSS lens, then it will be very expensive to get fisheye photos.
