How to disable flash? - Sony a6000

Hello.

Can anybody explain me of how to disable a flash in any of P/A/S/M modes?

My Sony a6000 camera says me that I can't disable flash in those modes. But, why?

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Currently I'm just using a black tape on front of the optical cable holes and let the internal flash fire even ext strobe is off.

Continuous shootnig is also lost if flash enabled. 

Any news from a fix fot this?

Its the same with the a350 a nuisance when doing bird photography either the noise of the flash popping up or the flash itself scares them away before the shutter fires .

This appears to still be a problem in 2020.

Combined with the hot shoe detection flash 'preview' mode on the display and some other Sony weirdness ...

Regretting buying into Sony now 😞
