BDP-S480 internet/network connection

I have a KDL-40NX723 TV which has built in wifi connection with

a BDP-S480 Blue-ray player which doesn't.

Question is can I link teh BD player to the network via a wired connection

through the TV ?

Hi,

your player has an ethernet port on the rear panel just connect using an ethernet cable to your router.
