I've had internet tv via my Sony Blu-ray player for several months, but during that time have not noted a single new programme on the 'Sony Entertainment Television' channel.  Do they ever change it?

How can I get apps on my tv like youtube, playstore, netflix etc.. I have connected my home broadband wifi to mysony tv but iam nt getting results I have been trying for weeks so could anyone help plz.... its all connected bt I don't know what's missing
