KDL 40W 5810 What Tuners does it Have and should i player work?

I bought this set and was told that it would handle High Definition TV. I can get High Def on Freesat but not on Freeview. Am I right in thinking I've been sold a pup with only one HD tuner? If that's the case should I buy a Freeview HD box or would a Freeview HD PVR such as a Humax give me HD on Freeview and Freesat?

Is this set meant to be able to get BBC i player? If so how do I set it up with my Orange Broadband?

Hi

Yes this is a Freesat TV, indeed, all Sony TV's have one digital tuner. As Freesat hasn't really developed as was originally envisaged, its not easy to even buy a Freesat TV these days.

So a Freeview HD PVR would give you twin Freeview HD tuners - http://www.sony.co.uk/hub/hard-disk-recorder
