Keyboard

Ive just bought a Logitech cordless keyboard K400 Plus for my KD-49X8309C.

The TV immediately recognised the keyboard in its settings, but it isn't working properly.

The mouse pad works OK, but not the keyboard.

I'm pretty sure that I read here some time ago that the K400 would work, but I haven't been able to find it again

Can someone help please?

Hi Simply4Me,

Could you please let us know if you have installed the latest firmware on your TV?

You can read more about how to do that here.

We will then be able to ask the relevant team for advice and report back to you as soon as we receive an update.

Best,

Arthur

Thank you for replying!

Yes, I have the latest firmware. I think I know what is the problem, I wanted to use the K400 for entering text into Amazon Video and similar apps, but it won't enter any text.

But I have found that the K400 does work with the TV's own functions like setting WiFi password etc.

So it seems the fault is not the K400 connection to the TV, but with the keyboard entry in the Amazon app.

Does that sound familiar to you?  Perhaps I should take it up with Amazon?

Hi again Simply4Me,

It seems that for some apps they work and for others they don’t. For example with Netflix you can use the keyboard but with Amazon it won’t work. This depends on the app itself that is created by the relevant provider.

So I suppose you could indeed contact the app developer to inquire about this.

Hope this helps!

Best,

Arthur
