Sony 32WD756 YouTube App Suddenly Stopped Working

Hi everyone, had the above tv for approx 8 months with no issues. A couple of days agao, the YouTube App stopped working and all the app tried to do is load and then gets stuck. Same with the YouTube kids app. Having looked through a few threads here, other users seem to be experiencing the same. Can Sony please get this issue sorted as not everyone wants to keeping having to do a factory reset !

Hi everyone, just spoke to Sony UK Customer Support and the issue has now been sorted without having to do a factory reset.

The issue is basically related to the cookies/cache with regards to YouTube.

What you need to do is the following :-

1. Go into Network settings and refresh internet contenet.

2. Then go into customer support settings and scroll down to initialize personal information, press okay. YouTube should work.
