salut everyone
take a look at this:
1,73 gigahertz Intel Pentium M
64 kilobyte primary memory cache
2048 kilobyte secondary memory cache
and
Board: AsusTek
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. R0060F2 12/16/2004
don't u think that 133MHz should have been 533 instead of 133???? am i missing something????:smileyconfused:
hehehehe, you miss nothing. That is all correct.:smileyhugs:
The real FSB is 133MHz. But the Intel CPUs works with Quadspeed technology. Because a bigger FSB = more bandwith = more speed
133 x 4 ~ 533MHz FSB
And the same is with the 1,73 GHz of your CPU. Intel, AMD, VIA and so one, uses a multiplier for that.
The Intel Pentium M in your VAIO has a variable multiplier.
Maybe between 4 or 5 and 13.
133 x 5 ~ 665MHz; 133 x 13 ~ 1729MHz
wow.. i didnt know that
thank u mate!
