Bigger Harddisk for my VGN-S1XP

Hi guys,

is it possible to install a new and bigger harddisk into my VGN-S1XP? I currently have 60GB.
I suppose I have to take the laptop apart, but that shouldn't be a problem, 1 year warranty ran out half a year ago.

If so, do you have any recommendations regarding brand, product etc. by taking into account power consumption (of course).

Anyone have any ideas? I want to do the same. I assume the HDD is ATA, and not Serial ATA right? Doesn't say on the tech specs on the Sony site. Want to put 100 - 120 gig in, I assume this will be straight forward with the current bios. Any advice appreciated.

Problem is I think the S1XP has an IDE Drive and I can't think of an IDE drive bigger than 80GB.

I may be wrong - anyone else got any ideas?

PLease note that a bigger harddisk is in most cases also physically bigger, and that will probably not fit inside the small chassis...
