Bios upgrades makes XP fail

Hey Some minutes ago i've upgraded my bios with the upgrade provided for the AR31S.
I've used it on my AR21S to solve the problem with closing the lid etc.

Now the good news is that the problem for vista is solved with that upgrade, BUT when i try to boot my pc in XP , it shows the bootloader, The screen flashes twice (tunr off and on) and than it turns off.

Any one knows how i can solve this problem or anyone can provide me the installer of the old bios version, as i'm still using XP frequently 😞

Thanks Patrick

EDIT: If already someone can tell me the bios version, i'll find it on the vaio fTP server ::

Hi

I've let VAIO-Link know about this problem, so they can help you further.

But patrick wasn't patrick if he didn't solved the problem himself

After some time of working i got the feeling safe mode could still work, and it was, so I uninstalled the graphics card, en rebooted, XP was agin working, than i installed the latest drivers from laptopvideo2go.com, and guess, everything is working again.

So now i can happily use visat and XP without the lid problem
