With reference to the above thread about the car adapter or fm transmitter to be able to play our vaio pocket players in our cars through the cigarette lighter, is it possible to use any fm transmitter or is there only certian types because Sony do their own fm transmitter but i'm not sure if it will work with the Vaio.

If not, could you possibly tell me any good fm transmitters that work with the vpp.

I assume that any of these transmitters will work because they plug directly into the headphone socket via the standard mini jackplug. Don't get ripped off by buying a branded product, there are many to be found on ebay for <£10

I know most people wont care, but are you guys aware that under UK Law its illegal to use the FM Transmitters in the UK?

This is why Belkin don't sell theirs here.

You can own one, just not use it!

Does any one know if it is possible to use the itrip with the vaio? I know you won't be able to change stations due to software incompatability but will it work on the default station?
