hi everyone, i've bought a new docking station for my serie S notebook, because i'd like to use it as a desktop replacement when i'm not outside; My question is: can i use my pc whitout opening it every time?
Obviously i've got an external monitor and an usb keyboard; Some docking station have an ON/OFF switch (toshiba ecc..) and you can use the unit without opening it; I think that if you want to save space in your desktop and switch off the LCD of your notebook, you could use it as a sort of closed case...(dust coffee etc) Or you can start your machine by keyboard (bios ?) sorry for my english cippolo
