Please could you advice which CD/DVD I have to buy to burn a SA-CD (DSD) music disc with my 204?

Although programs like Sonic Stage Mastering Studio can output in DSD format, I doubt that your drive can burn or read SACDs.

You need a special player/recorder to read/write SACD.

Commercial SACD comes on a Dual Layer Hybrid disc where one layer is normal CD and the other layer is SACD. Quite a few people collect SACD discs without having the facility to play the SACD layer. Presumably hoping that the very expensive players will come down in price.

Again we have a format war here with Audio-DVD.

You can buy single layer SACD discs which are 4.7GB discs (really DVD-5) and Dual Layer SACD (DVD-9) but not much use unless you have the equipment.
