Easy CD Creator 5 killed my Matshita DVD/RW drive!

I installed Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum on my Vaio PCG-Z1XSP running Windos XP Professional, and now my Matshita UJ-812 drive is not being recognised.

I get the following message in Device Manager:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I don't have a TSID so I cannot get any technical support from Roxio.

Any ideas how I can reset the drivers for the DVD drive?

Uninstall Easy CD and go to www.nero.com and search for registry cleaner, this usually fixes the problem.
