FS415 VideoOut

Hi, I am new here.

I just bought a VAIO fs415.
How can I connect it to the TV? There is no Video Out port and I want to play the videos on the laptop and see them on the TV.
Is the port S400i for this?

Hi Craft and welcome to the Club.

Your model does not have TV Out or Video Out - the only output is VGA for an external monitor.

The accessory Docking Station does not have them either.

Hi Craft,

Port S400i is an I-Link port this can be used to connect devices such as digital video camera's etc, page 79 of your models manual contains further information which may be of use.

i have the same laptop and i have brought an adapter that fits into the vga slot and has a video out slot on so i can link it to my t.v. It's really useful and for £40.00 well worth buying. Feel free to ask for further information about the product.
