GeForce 8400M GT - HOW TO INCREASE THE VIDEO MEMORY IN VISTA?

I own a Vaio FZ11M and at the properties of the GeForce 8400M GT
the Dedicated Video Memory is 64MB (and shared is 767MB).
Is the 64MB the actual(by hardware on the card) memory of the video card?

Is there a way to increase the video memory so the Dedicated could be at about 256MB?

sorry but no is the answer to your question 😞
Deadicated = ram physically attached to your video card- hence it is fast.
Shared = pinching some memory from your 2Gb installed ram using ram management software.

64mb of deadicated is still a nice amount for a laptop to have, to get a laptop with more than that you are talking silly money.

if money is no question: i would recommend you take a look at reviews etc. and find out about the possibillity of intalling any of these video cards into your notebook.
