Hibernate Playing Up

When I return from hibernation, the pc goes to the last desktop scene (as it should) but then without requesting it goes back into hibernating mode. Once I restart it the second time it works fine, so if anyone knows what the problem may can you let me know.

I seem to remember a fix for a similar problem in Vaio-Link. Make sure you have the latest updates etc.
