HOW TO GET 1080P WORKING ON A VISTA LAPTOP

Ok folks after much pain and suffering I've managed to get 1080P output on my Vista Home Premium AR21S laptop.

If anyone is interested in the solution (it's quite indepth) please post here and I'll draft something.

Finally I can watch HD content on a HD TV without the poxy interlace jerky images.

Hello

Like the last person can anyone point me in the right direction to getting this sorted on a VAIO Xl302.

Also I acan only get the Windows Vista screen to set to 720p - any higher than that the desktop is to big for the screen and the edges cannot be seen.

When switched to windows media centre i can get 1080i but not 1080p however when running a Blu Ray DVD for example it switches out of Media Centre into Win BDVD in Vista and back to 720p before playing.

I am using a Sony 40W2000 which supports full HD 1080p
