i love my PCG-Z1SP but...

after 16 month
he dont read DVD:smileysad:
and the Headphones socket don¿t work after I connect the headphones the sound still go out from the speakers and only very low sound go out from the headphones with noise
but i still love him and whant to give him RAM memory (512) so which one is the best memory for him??
anyone can help me

There shoul be some updates in
Vaio-Link which should sort your DVD problem out. Not sure about your headphones though. Check the same site for any updates.

Sorry to go off topic, but I'd love to know WHY so many people are having this issue?

What are you doing ? Do you have Nero installed ? Do you not clean your DVDs ? Do you use the drives a lot?

If as many of you with DVD issues could answer this I'd be happy to see what similarities you guys have.

1)no i dont use Nero the CD/CDR stil working the drive stop read only DVDs i will try reinstall xp to get rid of all the junk hope its will help

2)and abut the ram which ram i should buy for best performance???
